I too have an 88 Dakota Mopar Express in very good condition. I too have everything you said. It was done by a dealer in Kentucky. About 500 made. Your paint should be different too. The dealer told me it was a special red. I do know that my paint has lived until this point with no fade or cracks. Unusual for a daily driver 220,000 Dakota.

hi keith, thanks,thanks for the info,like the older dakotas,this truck was bought in ky i bought off orig owner,has 160,000 mi and is red with a few places the clear coat is flaking on the hood,right now i have a demon that the truck stalls, think it is a sensor,but not sure,is in the shop,will probably not use as a driver,only a fair weather driver like my conv.dakota. thanks again john ohio

hi danny,dont have any camera for pics,picture the 88/89 dakota sport red,with the shelby cab extension,bed cover with the ram head and mopar express outlining it and also special stripes on the truck with mopar express ,i have only had mine for a week , and already getting thumbs up and have been asked to sell it,not sure, sure wish i would have had it for the mopar natls,couldnt drive my conv much it rained,and that truck does not get wet. thanks for your interest,i will try to find somebody to take pics thanks john holland heath,ohio 740-522-5654

I just bought a Mopar Express Dakota off of eBay It is Navy Blue, it's nice to know something about it now. does anyone have a decal kit for the truck or know where I can get one

Hi,
This is my 87 Express 4 x 4 the conversion was done by Country Sales Inc. but I cannot find any info on them I wonder if they became L.E.R. that is the co. that did the 90-92 Little Red express Dakota.
I have found very little info on the 87 express.
If you can share anything you know that would be GREAT.
