Stop crying and sounding like a little girl. It's not like you're going into a hard service, it's the Air Force. Highest living standards and benifits over all other servicies. suck it up, give your dad a hug, kiss your mom goodbye, and go do what every american should.

I just spent 6 years in the Air Force I loved it if you are single it is the best place to be. Basic training is hard at the beginning but once you start the routine down it gets easier don’t stress over it What is your job going to be

It's only 6 weeks of training!! You have more freedom than the marines army and navy do in thier boot camps. You'll like it.

Do it. Air force is easy. Only reason they are there is to support and transport the Marines!

It has been a long time ago but I went into Navy when I was 17 and if I had it to do over I would go Air Force and put in 20 and now I would be retired and working on my Dakota full time. Boot Camp is a little rough at first more mental than physical. Probably get a little homesick and think you made a mistake but suck it up and listen closely to everything your told to do and follow orders exactly and in six weeks it will be the best job you ever had. Navy was better than most jobs I have had since except for the six month cruises I would have probably stayed but I hated that Aircraft Carrier(USS NIMITZ)Let me Know how it goes.
