Subject: Will 99 Ball joints fit the 2000 IP: Logged
Message: I was wondering if the 1999 Dodge Dakota 3.9 2WD ball joints fit onto the 2000. I cannot find the 2000 Ball joints anywhere but I can find the 1999 no problem. Anyone have any thoughts?

Message: hi bigk75
when i started looking into doing this mod i researched all the post on this site.i called summit raceing they had no info said their book only went up to year 1999. went out to a dealers lot and looked over the the new 02's the ball joints all looked the same. except for the 4-wd's lower joints they are pressed in. called a moog tech rep at their HQ and he told me their books only went up to the 1999 models. i said man the 03's will be out soon. he could not give me a answer of when their books would be up dated. so being a old hot rodder i took the matter into my own hands and changed everything over to moogs. i now have about 30,000 on the moogs and i'am very happy with them. i did change out the small bolts that are supplyed with the new ball joints with bigger nuts and bolts. sorry for the long post.
