What makes the front end so stiff on the 2000 dakota c.c. 4x4 - is it the shocks, torsion bars, or the sway bar? I would like to have a softer ride if possible. Any ideas ?

i have a 97 daks 4x4,reg cab, short bed. i have put new shocks on. i put the monroe reflux on they give it a soft ride. the local dodge dealer i took to get appraised they said for the year it has the best ride for a 97 they have ever test drove. hope this helps.
