Tonight somebody pulled out in front of my 2001 Dakota. I would like opinions on lower valences and grilles and a website were I could find them cheap. I also wanted to know what you guys though about the clear headlights, because I've heard that they leak and turn yellowish real bad.

Mine got wrecked friday morning by a 17 year old female drunk driver. $4400.00 in damage to my Dakota, $3500.00 in damage to wife's Maxima. The Maxima will likely be totaled by the ins. Co. because of it's age.

I have the clear headlights and I think they are great, have had them for six months there fine, a little brighter too.

Thanx for the help guys,i was looking into getting the clear headlights and clear corners,i am looking into the suncoast creations hood the one with the 2 scoops and the grille with no bars and the billet grille insert,but i dont know what lower valence to get yet,do you guys know where to get this grille at i dont remember and i cant find it anywhere,and where could i get this hood cheap at,and any suggestions on a valence that would look good.
Sorry about the cars and the dakota...nice rides i would be very unhappy too,the girl that pulled out in front of me said she didnt see me there and that she was insured and a cop said she got a ticket for failure the yeild but today i found out that she told her insurance company i was at fault and her insurance company is blaming it on me.The wreck was friday night should i go to the hospital 2morrow screaming whiplash,would it be to late to help me out at all?My neck is hurting a bit but not that bad.My dakota is trashed and it pushed the hood and fenders back into the doors and i just got a new paintjob.

DUDE, take it from me. Go right to the hospital and tell them your neck hurts and you were in a car accident. It actually makes you look more like a victim to her insurance people, cause I bet that girl went to the doctor and she's coming after you!

if the police wrote her a ticket and there would of had to been a police report, its her fault... no disputing it. If they give you hell about it, just give your insurance company a call (much better than a cheesy-ass lawyer) and let them no the situation... they'll go to bat for you.

get a copy of the police report and fax them a copy,i had to do it ,same thing she told her ins. co. it was my fault,after i faxed acopy they were out here in couple days

Insurance companies are crooked. DO NOT rely on them to go to bat for you. That is not in their best interest. Their best interest is to tag you with a chargeable accident, so they can surcharge you for three years, then cancel you. I was in an accident a while ago and the other driver was given two citations (she crossed the center line and hit me head on); I was given none. I was found 20% at fault; my insurance company was more than happy to surcharge me for the next three years. Get a cheesy lawyer; his/her best interest is to make you happy in exchange for your money.

Hey, if your neck hurts though, go to the doctor, cause if she is truly at fault, and sounds like she is, then her insurance company will pay for your medical bill. Won't cost you a penny and you'll get treatment for your sore neck. You could have whiplash. Sometimes it takes a few days before it really starts to hurt. I know that from a prior wreck I was in. Good luck.
