Subject: P255/65/15 tires IP: Logged
Message: Hello fellow Dakotas, Help me out here. I am looking for some good looking tires to replace these Goodyear eagles that don't wear very long. I have tried to get these Perilli Scorpion Zero Tires, but know one has them in stock. They tell me it will be a 2-month wait. Any suggestions on tires that are the stated size I need, as far as other brands that will give a quiet and smooth ride and are good for wet and dry roads. No off roading for me. Also like a good looking tread design. Email me and send pictures if you can, so I can see what they look like or send websites to Handyman53@cox.net Thanks Al

Message: I went with the Kumho Ecsta tires. The 275/60/15's are the same diameter as the ones you're looking for so they wont mess up your speedometer. Very good rain traction. I'm very impressed with them. Click on THIS LINK and search for the size.

Message: Mark, the tire size you mentioned is about 2 inches wider than my stock tires (215/75/15). I am looking for more traction and a better look and would like to go with a wider tire on 15 inch rims. Do you having problems with rubbing, etc.?

Message: I have them on 8" rims. They are a perfect fit in the rear. They dont even stick out past the wheel wells. I have 235's in the front only becuase i had them left over from my stock rims.
What year do you have?

Message: I have a 1995 Club Cab SLT with a 5.2L auto. I have done some of the basic mods to improve response (cold air intake, autolites, cap and rotor, comp flash, etc.) I went with an old style flex fan for cooling (flexalite 10K rpm performance fan) and like it. Electric fan cost and performance is just not there yet. Will probably do tires (275/60/15),1.6 rockers, shift kit next...
