Message: Ok, here's another mystery. I have a 2000 cc 4.7 4x4, and i just put a set 0f 20's on, now maybe i,m crazy but ever sense i put the rims on my brakes squeek when i apply regular force, when i step hard on the peddle they stop. There's still plenty of meat on the pad's, so i'd hate to go and change them. Also since the rim change when im making a turn, left or right, especially a tight turn a hear a strange humming sound. I think it's comming from the rear, it's sort of like a "woo woo" sound if you can imagine it. It does'nt look like anything is rubbing, i was thinking maybe gear oil? The truck has 41,500k on it and i never changed the gear oil, but then again i only noticed it when i changed the rims. Thanks for reading and any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Message: Hey DB, this is just a guess, but if your new rims have a lot of offset they will load the front wheel bearings differently than your stock rims. The humming also may be the tires rubbing on the inner fender . Check for clearance both ways at full lock and if you can, jack up the truck under the lower control arms and check for loose bearings- just a guess!
