My sticker says I have a 22 gal tank, but it seems everytime I run the tank down to E I put in less gas. For example, 2 days ago the bar was right on E and I only squeezed in about 17 gallons. Anyone else having this problem and should I get it checked out?

That's probably about right. I have the 22 gal tank also and I usually run it down to the 1/8th mark before filling. This usually takes 14 - 15 gallons. Dodge is probably making sure that we don't run the tank dry, since I have heard htat doing so usually ruins the fuel pump ($800 to replace).

Talk about an idiot light then - I didn't think they would make it that rediculous, that's why I posted. Thanks for the feedback though!

that is no joke my pcm was messed up so it told me i had a full tank of gas comming out of the dealer after some warrenty work. and i ran out of gas the pump needed to be replaced and the #8 fuel injector because the pump just fell apart. they showed me a fuel sample and i could see the metal flakes clearly.

I usually run my 2003 Quad Cab (24gal tank) down until the fuel light comes on. From there it is about 17-19 gallons. If I took it to E, I would imagine it would take 21 gallons to fill.
