Message: how about the brrrr noise that seems to come from the center dash vents....sounds almost like there is something stuck in the blower motor....but only does with a/c on. most noticeable when fan is in first two positions...at higher speeds the sound of the fan drowns out the brrrrr sound.
About 35k miles ago had the a/c clutch go out. and I mean go out. the pulley was all wobbley and the bearings were melted to the shaft. cleaned it up and installed new mopar a/c clutch. checked air gap as best as could...but is becoming noisy again...any ideas???time for new compressor???still gets very cold...but is making noise now..would like to save clutch if I can...any ideas???

Message: I seem to be having the same problem that
you discribe Paul. At first it only seemed to do
it at idle but is more frequent now. With the
hood open the compressor does seem to
make a similar sound. It doesn't seem to be
as cold as it used to be either.
Anyone gotten this fixed yet?

Message: at least it's not just me..no luck getting any info. yet, though....if you hear something..please let me know.
I looked at mine and it also looks like when it disengages, the clutch plate turns backward some times...not all and not a full turn, but sometimes aas much as between an eighth and a quarter turn BACKWARD---is this normal??

Message: I noticed that some of the loops on the ends of
the condensor are oily and the paint is peeling
off. I think I'm going to need a new condensor
and a recharge. I hope to get it looked at this
week sometime.
