Subject: Clicking sound comming from fan/blower IP: Logged
Message: '02 Quad Cab SLT +
I think something (a leaf???) got sucked into the fan/blower under the glove box :( you can clearly hear the fan ticking and it gets faster as you turn it up. The noise goes away when you shut the fan off. Also the noise is on regardless of A/C or vent position control, so it's clearly the fan to me.
Any clue how to get in there and fix this? It's going to drive me MAD!!!

Message: I had the same thing happen to me . I just ran the fan at high and waited until the fan chewed up what ever was in there . took about a month .

Message: Great... Thankfully when I drove home at lunch it was not as bad as before, so maybe it's already getting chopped up.

Message: Had a similar problem. Took it to a shop and they found that some critter had stored some nuts in there, presumably for the winter.
