Message: Anyone know of any websites where I can get some info on Dakota 2wd body and suspension lifts?
Such as websites of the mfgrs. and such. I'm thinking about maybe a 6.5" suspension lift.
Any help would be appreciated.

Message: You could have just searched on this site, it woulda been easier and faster. Try "2wd lift kit"
Oh yeah, you dont have many choices, Lifted Coil Springs, Coil Spacers, Lifted Spindles, Lifted and Extended A-Arms and Body Lift.
You can get a 3" body lift from Performance Accessories or Trailmaster.
You can get 3" lifted coil springs from a Dodge Ram or www.just2x4lifts.com (Aim industries)
Or 3" Coil spacers from Daystar or http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/PLCDR3U.html
They dont make lifted spindles for our trucks (yet)
Now, about A-arms, AIM Ind. is the only people that make Extended A-arms. Nobody makes lifted arms for us yet either.
So, since we have rack and pinion steering, we can only lift the suspension 3" and still have allignment, the front end steering components wont wear out fast either. If you put 3" on your truck I would suggest putting the extended A-Arms on also, but that is not seriously needed. If you could fab some kind of ball joint spacers you could go higher.
Heres my idea:
Extended upper and lower A-Arms
4" lifted coils
2" Coil spacers
Ball joint spacers
3" body lift
2 1/2" Spindles
Thats 11 1/2" WOW.
