I have a 99'Dakota 4x4 and noticed the lower inside lip of the doors were developing rust blisters even though I spend anal amounts of time maintaining even the most hard to reach areas. The dealer agreed (even suggested)to replace the doors. The new doors were different in that the small rectangular breather holes were open my origional ones had clear plastic coatings over them which prevented moisture from escaping,I was wondering if any other owners had these coverings or had removed them?
