Hello folks. i own a 2000 quad 4.7 4x4 and was just wondering if my fan should be coming on as soon as i turn defrost on(even though the truck hasnt been running for 2 hours and the outside temp is 60) I ask this because when i ran the a/c, defrost before it would only kick in for a little bit and then shut off. Now it kicks in all the time and wont shut off. My trucks temperature is running normal so is this a problem that would need attention?

Defrost function uses a/c system to dry air. In the same way that your fan comes on for a/c, it will come on for defrost.
