Message: There will be no more R/T's....they're now being replaced with SRT versions if yall guys haven't noticed. DCX has over 10 more SRT models coming up in the near future.
I'm glad they got smart and finally dropped the 2.5 4 from the Dak...the 3.7 is now base. And not to mention finally 5 lug wheels!
Rumor has it the were be a special run of 04 Daks that sport the 5.7 Hemi...They will be called duh, Dodge Dakota 5.7 Hemi, no R/T, and not even SRT I believe.
I'll post back up tomorrow and let yall know.

Message: JasonB,
I don't know where you live, maybe downtown NY or LA, but here in OR about 80%+ of trucks are diesels. Almost all farm rigs are diesels. A large majority of diesel owners are city-slickers who drive them to and from work. Personally, I love my QC Dakota except when I am at the gas pump. Towing my 18' boat or 2-3 snowmobiles nets me 7-8 mpg. That type of load behind a newer Cummins would be in the 15+mpg range. Plus gas is $1.83 here while diesel is $1.67.
Just because you live in an asphalt jungle doesn't mean nobody else wants a diesel.
DC, I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Message: Are the execs who have decided there is no market for a diesel dakota the same numbnutz who thought there was no market for a 4 door truck? Driving around the city, 50% of the vehicles are 4 door trucks. I say market some diesels and see what happens.
