Message: My dad gave me his original set of Goodyear Wrangler's off his '98 Durango 4X4 (31 X 10.5) They have 15k on them and look new. My guy tried to mount them on my aftermarket 7" ers but they rubbed on the front. My truck is an '88 4X4 (5 bolt)
Since I plan to get new Chrome Steel wheels, can anyone suggest what size, offset ect.? I know at least 8". Also the way my setup is now, the fronts look like they stick out about 2" from the rears. this is how I bout it and I have no driveability issues or abnormal tire wear. I have seen other Daks that appear this way. I have no clue what the offset is on the current wheels.
Thanks

Message: Get a 2-3in body lift and put on your dak. That would allow you to run 31s. Without lifting it, Is gonna be hard to get 31s on with no rubbing. Try jacking the torsion bars up 1.5 in for the front, then try fittin the tires. With alot of fender trimming you might get them on there. But i believe your gonna need a body lift. realitively Easy to do and cheep! And the Goodyear 31s will fit on you15x 7 rims. I have 31x10.50 15 ATs mounted on my AR Nitro 15x7s. No Problem. The bolt patter is a 5 on 4.5 5 lug obviously. And the fron wheels to stick out further. Its designed that way. Make the vehical more stable. Look at chevys, their axel width difference is very noticible.
