Subject: Stalled on me IP: Logged
Message: Wierd thing happened to me yesterday. Any help would be greatful. My '88 4X4 auto has 143k and has yet to miss a beat. So this is odd...I was merging onto the highway and hit those ripple strips that will vibrate the shizit out of you if you fall asleep. anyway all of a sudden I lost power and stalled. Poped into nuetral, restarted, same thing then she was dead. Got to the side and she still wouldn't start. After about five minutes, fired right up and was fine. Acted like fuel starved, but had 1/2 tank. I'm hoping not a computer problem.
Thanks..Dak88

Message: I know your problem. You need a set of Quality engineered Autolite spark plugs and your problems will be solved. Do you want more out of your Dodge engine? How would you like to have-
More pep, Quicker starts, Smoother idle, Quicker response?
You will recieve all of that and more by going to your local auto store and purchasing a set of quality engineered Autolite spark plugs
It will be alright with Autolite.

Message: Excluding the possibility that the autolites caused it.....
You may want to check the ignition control module. I'm not sure where it is on the Dakota, but on Ferds and Chevrolets it is on the bottom of the distributor.
Local autoparts stores usually will check this for free.
