Subject: warranty/ radio questions. IP: Logged
Message: Today when I drove my 2002 SXT to the grocerey store, and when I climbed back in to go home the radio wouldn't work. None of the stations would make any noise at all. When i put in a cd it would start on some random track and i could faintly hear the music over a loud static sound. Anyone else ever had this problem?
I have the 7/70,000 powertrain warranty, and i'm pretty sure it covers EVERYTHING up to 30,000 miles. Is that correct? I only have 20,000 on it now so should i take it to the dealer? thank for the help

Message: Yes, you're radio is covered assuming it's the original radio. Take it to the dealer.

Message: ok, so today when i got in it, it worked just fine. Worked fine all day. Should i still take it in? or will they tell me to come back when it acts up again? I'm worried that it'll last 8,000 more miles and then i'm screwed.

Message: if the dealer can't duplicate the problem he won't fix it.
