On my 93 Dakota instead of an SLT badge, there is one that says LE. What does this mean?

I used to have a 93 RC 4x2 LE V-8. It was emerald green and I bought it new in the bay area of Cali, and sold it there as well. Do you have it now? It was sweet, ran a 14.9 at Sears Point, and I still got the window sticker for it. It's says nothing about what "LE" stands for. I don't think they really have anything in mind when they make up those letter codes. I'd say Luxury Edition as it included:
Chrome Grill, and rear bumper
aero headlamps (also std. on sport model)
22 gal tank
power steering, with sport steering wheel
delux intermittent wipers
tach
sliding rear window
light group
AM/FM/Cassette
p215/75R15 tires
it added $1,983 to the MSRP

Funny I never considered San Fran as being northern California. I guess living in Eureka, Ca for 5 years and it being like a 6 hour dive south to get to San Fran sort of spoiled the whole 'northern' feeling. I only had that 93 1.5 years and I sold it so we could buy a house in Eureka. We have since moved on to Missoula, MT (my hometown) and I finally got my Dakota back, a 2000 yellow RC R/T. I first looked for a nice used GenII V-8 2wd but they are all 4wd's up here. I was really shocked to find an R/T (I actually drove to Idaho to get it). There are only 2 others in the state I'm sure of but there might be a few more tucked away in some cow town.
