How hard is it to convert my 89 dakota to use R-134 refrigerant. I have a leak in the system and will be looking for it also and 134 sounds to be the cheapest. Sure would appreciate any help!

It's not hard at all, I did a 89 Chevy van about 2 years ago worked great. I just got the change over kit it has everything you need, fittings, oil, R-134 enough for a normal system.

You can buy the kit from your local AutoZone or Advanced for about $35.
