Subject: 180 degree t-stat IP: Logged
Message: i am wits end, here in n.y., it is apparently impossible to get a robert shaw or stant t-stat. they don't even list a part number for the 2001 4.7. can anyone please help with my dilema. ideas, web sites, anything. thanks

Message: Why do you have to get a robert shaw? I just went to the local parts shop, looked up the factory replacement part # for the brand they supplied. The fact replacement was a 195'. I simply found a 160' that was the same size (I believe it was 52 mm). I wouldn't run a 160' in New York. The 180' should be perfect for you. My store brand "Heavy Duty" Tstat has had no problems and was only $4.99. Goodluck

Message: i am not looking for a peticular brand, just a 180 degree one. i have went to several auto parts places here and none have a 180 degree of anykind. their parts books don't even list any?

Message: 180 deg.Stant,there heavy duty is Super Stant or Stat works fine. Starts to open at approx 178 deg and full open at 185,or at least mine did.
