A factory base / clear coat done properly should be around $3500 on up.

I know a guy that does it for $1000 all day long and happens to be one of the best in town. He pulls the door panels and the carpet back just to get the inside of the door and just inside the jambs! He won't do the underhood, and suggests undercoating, but he honestly does some of the nicest paintwork around. Moonie's paint&body in West Monroe La.
