Subject: stalling from a stop IP: Logged
Message: I have a '94 Dakota, 3.9L V6 with 190,000 Km. Bought used in December '02. The truck stalls when starting from a stop unless I pump the peddle to bring the revs to about 2000 rpm. I put new plugs in when I bought it and have driven about 16,000 Km since then. The distributor cap, button and plug wires seemed fine. I just replaced the air filter. It does not seem to be a gas problem because it happens on gas from different companies. The truck runs well at idle and at cruising speed. So it seems to be a problem related to when the truck is accelerating (or under a load). Any ideas?
