 Subject: my truck is hopping down the road

i need some serious help. the other day i was driving my truck to the bank. i shut it off, went in and when i got back in and started it up it started idling rough. then i got it up to about 40 and the rear end started hopping up and down, almost a vibration. what did i do to my truck, can i fix it?

did you drive over any hot tar, there may be a lump of it congealed on the tire, something might be wedged into the tread or a tire may have ply separation, hard to tell without looking at it.
