Message: One of the first magazine reports said 8.0 seconds. Seems like I saw some mid-to-high 7 second numbers elsewhere.

Message: I can't believe it is that slow. The 1500 must be a tank. The lightning is only rated at 35 more hp and look how fast it is.

Message: Your question is kind of broad. Obviously, a Hemi 1500 Single Cab is going to be a lot faster than a fully loaded QC 2500 (etc etc).

Message: The Ram needs the Hemi's torque to move its 5000 pounds. Refridgerator Perry didn't make the cut in the 100 yard dash.

Message: Also keep in mind that the Hemi is only in automatic until you get into the 2500 and 3500. So the automatic is gonna slow down a little.
