 Subject: tranny temp gauge

I`ll be towing a camper(4500 lbs ) and want to install a transmission temp. gauge. I read somewhere that anything over 200 deg. might do damage to my 03 - 4.7 quad cab / auto 5 spd.Need to know who sells one that installs easy.

As Far as I have been told, you actually have to take of tranny fluid pan and weld a fitting in it. Sounds like it could be hard.
