Message: Took my 01CC to the dealer before my warranty runs out for the dreaded "clunking in the front end". Turns out it was the lh brake caliper slider pins needed lube. I stood there and watched the tech check everything in the front end. He told me that alot of service departments just replace parts because certain parts have a bad rap. DC foots the bill so what the hay? Anyway, my clunk is gone. Something to remember.
While he was road testing my truck I wandered on over to a truck the dealer had up on a stand, an 03 QC 4x4. In the left rear fender well was an orange sticker that said "SUSPECT PARTS" and the fender well was body color instead of blackout like every other Dodge truck I have ever seen. I told the sales manager about that one.
