with the downpour of rain in NE Ohio it created some flooded roads so i couldnt refuse the opportunity to show my neighbor my 2001 dak 4x4 could do better than his 3inch lifted cherokee (which i did)
the problem is today either ive messed up my brakes or the transmission. after coming to a complete stop the engine will rev real high and it doesnt go anywhere then it will start to creep forward and after about 20 yards it will shift and then start to move. can anyone help me out with what i might have screwed up.

I can't help you with your problem, but I am in NE Ohio and was out in the flooding last night. I saw many cars with water upto the hoods, my truck did well (2003 RC 4x4) but I was pretty careful about water depth and ditches, i got into it upto the bottom of the doors on some roads.

well i took my rear brakes off hoping to find out that was the problem and not the tranny. the drums were kind of flash rusted on the inside so i used some sandpaper and ground off the rust and that seemed to fix it (knock on wood so i dont have to get the tranny worked on again)

OJ where are you at in NE ohio and do you know of any good places to go mudding or offroading?
