Although the V6 will sound decent with a flowmaster exhaust, it will never match that V8 sound. Just as my small V8 will never sound like a Viper.

I agree with the Dr...been there, done that, it defies the laws of physics. Some folks may be good at deluding themselves into thinking that a V6 will sound like a V8, and I envy them for it, but it can't be done...

I must agree with Dr. D - I had a Chevy s10 with a built 4.3, it was a mean sumbich too and at lower revs it sounded exactly like a 350 but as soon as you pressed the gas at all it was a 6 banger again - sorry just can't be done.

this girl comes through the drive thru at my work with an older v6 s 10 and she said she just has a flowmaster cat back cept 1" pipes after the muffler and it sounds desent almost like a 5.0 mustang...but nothin like a mopar...

You can try putting in a highflow cat and also try the Deltaflow 40 series muffler with 3-3.5 inch tips. Headers might help with the sound a little too
