Will switching from a 195 deg. stat to a 180 deg. stat in my '87 3.9L V6 Dakota require any adjustments to anyother part of the Engine??

What good or bad will it do to the truck by going to 180 deg??!!

It shouldn't require any other changes. The 180 will allow coolant to circulate through the radiator at 180 degrees rather than the stock 195. Should help keep it cooler, and I've heard that it helps cure knocking also by keeping the engine cooler. I haven't heard anything bad at all about switching to the 180, but I haven't bothered to switch mine...yet.
