Message: You can try Ryan Vowell at http://www.performanceinjection.com/ He is in Hawaii but he can usually get you a better deal. You should also try the delphi R/T forum he posts a lot over there.

Message: Real race cars run roots type blowers.not powerdynes'or paxtons ..why? They are much more efficient. No lag etc.Check out the Kenne-Bell systems. The screw-type blowers they offer are the best of the roots type.

Message: Get the powerdyne. The Paxton is the biggest piece of $hit ever made. We had one on our Ram and it would sieze every time we would tow the racecar (2000lb car & open trailer). We sent it back to Paxton six times before we took it off and threw the whole thing in the trash. Now we have a 99R/T Dak with the Powerdyne and have never had a problem with it at all.

Check all of the vendors... I spent a good month or so on the phone, and internet searching for the BEST price.
I ended up getting mine at jdsperformance.com

Message: For the R/T the Paxton is the only way to go. It's the easiest to tune and it's out performed any of the other blowers on the R/T's. The Kenne Belle's are very hard to tune on the R/T's and most go with the Paxton if they have the cash and then settle for the powerdyne or vortec if they are on a budget. There are also custom computer programs being worked on right now to help optimize the power out of the blowers, especially the paxtons. And if you look at the size of the headunit of the blowers, the paxton is almost twice as large. You can get some serious power out of the paxton. When I get the cash, that's the way I"d like to go. Email Vowell to see what kind of prices he can give ya. You won't regret it.

Message: Sorry Paxton please, that was a few years ago. And to be fair, the Paxton we had was an older model, not one of the newer ones.

Message: The SN93 Paxtons had a bad rep due to their failure rate and Paxton is still trying to live it down.
But comparing the Powerdyne to a Novi 2000 model is like comparing a VW to a Ferrari. Not even in the same league. Too many Powerdyne failures at one year or less and I have yet to find even one complaint about the Novi 2000 in any Dodge or Ford message board. Don't check the GM boards much.

Message: I'm running the Kenne Bell and have had one problem.... fixed easily once i figured it out. I choose the Kenne because of the low end power... full boost a 2000 rpm and up. If you want to race then others may be better but you need rpm's to feed them. The kenne is great on the street and very reliable. my 2 cents. (4.7 auto lsd)
