Subject: 3.92 Gears IP: Logged
Message: Right now i have a 98 w/Magnum V6 i am trying to make it a little faster, the only thing i have left that won't cost an arm and a leg is gears. It has 3.73's in it now and i was thinking about 3.92 with posi. If anyone has done this or knows what type of outcome i will get please let me know.

Message: I swapped out my 350's for 392's and notice more power. With the higher ration there is a slight noise on the highway. My speedometer is off a bit but you can get a new gear for that. They are quite expensive for the pinion and ring gears. I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't necessary.

Message: depending what size tires your running, I'm running 33's and just installed 4.56's in both ends and I'm glad I went with them, not anything less.
