Message: The fender flares on my 95 4x4 are faded and greying. I tried mothers back to black and it didnt work. Can I paint them. If so what type of paint would be best and hold up in all kind of weather?

Message: Not to step on anyone's toes but I have used a low buck problem solver that I will share. By your question I'll assume some mechanical ability, so remove and clean your fender flares. This is a three can process that will probably need to be obtained from a good parts store or a body shop supply store. Using a clean rag wipe down the parts with Klean Strip QSW362 Prep-All wax and grease remover. After it is dry spray Klean Strip ETPO-123 Bulldog Adhesion Promoter (clear in color) to the flares. Lastly, follow with Sem 39103 Bumper Coater (substitute another number if you do not want the semi-gloss o.e. look) maybe two coats and youre done .One can of each was enough for all four, and this should be durable. Warm sunny weather helps if you plan to "backyard" this project.
