Message: my 99 will knock out the headlights quite often when I click back to low beam from high beam. I need to click it again or cycle through and then it's fine. I have been too lazy and stupid to look into it further. Maybe when I have to drive home by moonlight I'll wake up. hehe. But seriously, are you guys changing out the stalk switch or the switch at the dash?

Message: My high beams will not turn off. I removed the headlight fuse and they still were on. The only way I could get them to turn off was to disconnect the battery. I took it to a dealer and they said that it was the "headlight module". What is that? They want to charge me $200 to fix it. Where is the module at and what exactly does it do? Any help would be appreciated.

My 94 Dakota's low-beams quit on me yesterday. Last time this happened (two months ago), I got a smelly warning, then lights out! This is my second switch, must be a short burning up my switches?! I really hate to take apart that blasted dash again.

Message: My headlights went out a few months ago and wouldn't turn back on, however, after driving some in the day, they returned and worked fine for months, about a month ago I noticed one little flicker but they stayed on and still worked. About two weeks ago the headlights quit working again and I am now on a search to find the problem, the guy at Advance Disc Auto checked some fuses and stuff and said that the fuse is in line after the switches so my switches are working but no power to the headlights. Anybody got any ideas??
you got it
