Hello I have a 02 QC 4.7 4X I noticed this morning on the drive to work that when I came to a stopped my oil pressure gage would go from the far right on the slash just below the high mark to the slash just above the low mark I have not noticed this before should I be concerned

Where had the guage read at idle heretofore? I have the same truck only an 01 and this has been the consistent behavior since day 1. It seems quite normal to me that as long as you have good oil pressure at 35+mph and idle doesn't drop to nil, you're fine.

On a warm day, with a warm engine and 5W30 oil this is going to happen occasionally...
