Subject: Twitch rear end IP: Logged
Message: I have an 01CC 3.9 2WD SLT. The back end is real loose. If I hit any kind of bump or rut on the highway the back end jumps out on me. A couple of times I was almost eating Armco.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? I put 31x10.5/15 on 15x8 rims off my 97CC4x4 (only parts I was left with) and mounted those up about a year ago. My 97 4x4 drove like it was on rails.
Any help is appreciated, as always.

Message: Same problem with my 2K 4.7 4x4, especially with bumps in turns; don't think stock shocks have enough damping for the spring rate. Roadmaster active suspension helped, so did lowering the air pressure in my rear tires.

Message: Ditto what Kowalski said. Try Monroe Reflex shocks. I'm happy with mine and they're relatively inexpensive.
