I am interested in buying a roll top bed cover for my Dakota. Has anyone had any experience with the Pace Edwards, Retrax, or Roll & Lock Bed Covers?

Yepper ... have the Pace Edwards rolltop on my truck now. Installed it a few weeks ago. No complaints here!

Well, I take that back. If you're concerned much with bed space, the rolltops have a canister in front that the cover rolls into. You lose that much bed space. But the "cool factor" kinda over-rides that. It's just a neat, finished looking cover.

Guess that all depends on the installer. The rails are totally adjustable. Sounds to me like it wasn't installed right.

I just purchased the Retrax system, but waiting for the thing to arrive in the mail. Does anyone have experience with this brand? I'll let you know in a few weeks!

I've got the Roll'n Lock cover, its great and I'd buy it again for sure. It took about an hour to do and was a very easy do it yourselfer.
It keeps the rain out well, looking forward to see how it does this winter.

how are you liking the retrax system? i have been researching roll-top covers and they seem to have the best product out there. i wanted to know of any problems/complaints anyone has before i took the leap and purchased one.

Had the pace edwards roll top on from day one its been great up till a month ago the locks started sticking and its become a pain to get it to open when I want or Stay closed at highway speeds i imagine if i just go out and clean it up and oil it down all might be well but none the less i still think its a great idea.
