Where exactly are the coolant ports on the sides of 5.2 and 5.9 magnum engines? From my research and looking at the intake manifold, It looks like installing a temperature gauge in the side of the block would be easier than installing it other places.

My Dakota is currently in the body shop or I would check for you. The best place to install your sensor would be in the intake as close to the thermostat as possable, next best would be the heads and last would be the block. The coolant runs through the block then the heads and last out the intake to the radiator, you want the highest temp area.
