Subject: bullet proof 42re? please help IP: Logged
Message: here's my dilema, I got beat tonight by a vehicle with a good transmission (5spd manual) I have a bad transmission (99,000 mile 42re) its time for a new one. Where do you get your hands on a shift kit for this and what do they run. Also does anyone know where to find aftermarket (higher quality then OEM) bands etc. I mean like heavy duty ones and finally what about a torque converter does anyone make one with a higher stall rating? thanks for the help
