 Subject: code p0505 how to fix

My engine light came on and I pulled the code it came up p0505. Idle control system malfunction. Does any one know how to relieve this problem. If so could you tell me how to fix it. 2001 Quad Cab w/ 4.7 5 spd 4wd. thanks in advance.

Try pulling the throttle body and cleaning the idle air control.
