Subject: Lift/Leveling Front End IP: Logged
Message: I have an 01 CC 3.9 with 31x10.5-15 that really make the difference in front/rear ride height obvious. I don't want to lower the back, I want to raise the front.
Question: If I remove the stock coils up front and install a set of stock coils from a 4.7 or 5.9 (not R/T) would that lift the front end an inch or 2?
Conversely, what other coil springs from other Dodge products would accomplish what I want?
TIA.

Obviously the question is about a 2wd truck which has coil springs up front and the 4wd Daks have torsion bars. If you knew that you would realize what a fukcing moron you now sound like.
I have an idea. Get a clue. Until then keep your fukcing brailess sarcastic remarks inside you fat, empty head you trolling shlt bag.

Thanks for nothing.

Message: Coil springs are not gender specific per say, I have changed springs in vehicles to lift and/or to lower them sometimes the springs are from a differnt make. You could install V8 springs but unless you can find someone who has done this you cannot be sure of the results, one possability is that you may gain only a half inch, or the ride may stiffen beyond your likes. You need to find all of the specs on your current springs (autoparts stores or spring shops) like outside diam., free height, spring rate, and wire diam. then search through the listings for other springs with the same specs except for the installed height(in this case you want taller). I would first compare you spring specs. with a Quad cab, V6 with HD suspension.
Good Luck
