 Subject: suspension on motorsport

Anyone know the difference between the Motorsport suspension and the Sport? My 2k1 Motorsport sits a good inch, maybe two, lower than my '98 sport. Both are RC, Sport has a 3.9, MSport has the 4.7, and the Msport has larger rims than the Sport. Btw, not only does the Motorsport sit lower, it handles much, much better.

it has coilovers and a 2 ladder bar in the rear. this was new in 99

I have an 01 RC Motorsport and a 97 RC Sport. My M/S sets much higher than the 97. Go figure? I still have the sticker from both trucks. The 01 says it has a heavy duty Susp.

ladder bars are not the same thing as a 4 link rear. Ladder bars are a 3 link rear, where one link connects to the frame and two links connect to the axle. Whereas a 4 link has just that... four links, two to the frame and two to the axle.

ttt, is right on top of things if you are serious about the suspension under a Dak being a 2 ladder or whatever the hell you called it, you should crawl under your Dak if you have one, and have the wife or girlfriend run over you, several times so you can get a good look at it.

IntenseDak39, Absolutly not I am refering to the clown that thinks Dakotas came with ladder bars and coil-overs starting in 99. I think more people need to do something to help their traction starved Dakotas, but then some of them think that it means their trucks have tons of power.
