My dad has a 2000 rc dak 3.9 5spd 3.55 and he is wondering if anyone has problems with the cap holding water and if theres a soloution as he's replaced the cap once?

Are you referring to the cap holding water after washing/rain? I think this is normal, and is above the seal at the tank filler neck. Don't lift the cap on removal, but tilt it outwards to spill the water. Another Mopar quirk, I guess.
