Subject: Painting? IP: Logged
Message: My '93 dak is in need of paint. I want to get a full paint job, but im broke. I have the green color (cc 9093) which was stated in a pep-boys book for crystler. Is there any suggested primer I should use for my truck (basiclly the bed has some surface rust and i primed a large part, but never got around to painting it).
Also, what is the easiest way to remove decals? WD40?

Message: Use a heat gun or hairdryer held at a 45 degree angle so you won't burn up the element. Use a PLASTIC razor blade from a body shop supplier, and WD-40 or turpentine to remove the glue residue. Use a good grease/wax remover as a prep, like RM 900, PPG 330.
