 Subject: A.R.E. Sport Wing Tonneau Cover!

Just installed...SWEET!!!..great paint job by A.R.E. matching my Flame Red PR4 factory color. Great fit.
Had a shop do the install job, less than 30 minutes, probablly could have done it myself but they warranty their work life time to match A.R.E.'s life time warranty on the cover...ok price at $880 for paint match of cover, wing, and install.
Now the fun part...truck just hit 666 (gonna have to call this the Little Red Devil) miles when the install was done, driving home, the wing attracted two speed racers, one 2001 Subaru WRX who just tailed me admiring my rear (the wing...) and a 1986 or so Mustang 5.0 convertible who must have really admired the wing after we lined up at a stop light in the rain, side by side, and just spun his tires while my AWD launched and threw me back in the drivers seat (first time mash of go pedal for me, the hell with the rain!)
The cover and wing just add such a new meaty, big, aggressive rear end view to my new DAK QC...I feel the money taken away from the 'go faster now' parts budget was well spent!
I'd like to hope the extra 100LBS over the rear axle helps a bit over those rough spots in the road and improves traction slightly, while the cover might improve MPG (slightly gullable here now)...
Looking for a exhaust shop to do me a nice custom dual exhaust with a Flowmaster SUV Performance 50 series muffler (single 2 1/2 inch inlet, dual 2 1/4 inch outlets)...to really make my rear end (the truck...) stick out!

I've been following it. Dakfury has two nice rides.

I can't believe what some people do to get some attention. I guess it provides good entertainment for the rest of us. Kind of like going to the circus.

If you do not know the man, or have ever spoken with him personally, then do not begin to pass judgement on him personlly. I dont care if you like the wing or not. You can bash the wing all you want but back off the personal attacks. Is that how you guys get your "jollies"? You have made it clear that you dont like it. What is the point in going on at him about it. It's not for me either but it is his truck and it is unique to him. Who are you to constantly keep Criticizing him about. So you dont like it, MOVE ON! 1.) Its fun.
2.) The boy has no sense of humor this enphasizes #1.
3.) In the course of our tet a tet he's shown himself to be, (for lack of a better term) a wad. This whole deal would have never have gotten rolling if the poor sob didn't take himself (or his wing)so friggin' serious.
4.)What should he care what I think in the first place? Am I his mommy? Is he looking to do me. Is he my buddy my pal? NO He's lookng for strokes, and stroking tastless fuks who put wings on 4X4's is not my buisness.

In the Marines we'd be flippping each other $hit all the time 'cuz we knew it didn't mean $hit. We wouldn't go whining about it like some beehitch, "Boo! Hoo! they're making fun of my wing", But our guess our DI's trained us to have thicker skin. But we certainly wouldn't send out buds in to fight our battles. This thread has never been useful. Opinions are what people think and when asked for them, well then, people shouldn't complain about what they read. If you don't like what people have to say in a certain thread then don't point your mouse to it and click the little button. This website is awesome and I have received a lot of good info from it. I love it, this sh*t is amazing!
