I have seen this information 1,000,001 times but now when I need it I cant find it.
Here's the situation, I am doing a V6 to V8 swap. The truck is a 1992 Dakota 2wd, reg cab, short bed. The motor I am putting in it came from a 1995 Ram. I didn't get wiring with the engine so I need to get the engine and chassis harnesses. What year(s) wiring do I get? Do I get 1992 Dakota V8 wiring? Do I get the 1995 Ram engine wiring and the 1992 Dakota Chassis wiring?
I was that the engine wiring is just the plugs for the sensors it plugs into the fuseblock in the engine compartment. Then the chassis harness is the plug into the PCM, fuseblock, headlights and the plug that goes into the dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
