I agree I felt a little miss led from this site,I ordered my truck 03 SLT CC 4.7 and waited for months for it getting more and more exited reading all the posts on this site about them being quicker than an R/T. Well 11000 miles later and 8 losses to just R/T's and then the others I don't want to mention I have decided I to love the truck just not the "Lurch" under the hood. I to don't want to hear about your 14.8-9 second 4.7's I to know the truth!

If you wanted a fast racing machine, you should have bought a vehicle built for racing.
I bought my Dak Quad Cab with the 4.7 for daily driving and carring my family. It handles the around town and long highway drives with power and enough speed to spare.
Remember it's a truck, not a sprint car.

FoMoCo, I am happy with my Dodge so I don't bother going to other web sites. You on the other hand must have a piece of crap if you hang out on Dodge sites trying to make yourself feel better. If I wanted a ford I would be on one of the ford sites where I would feel welcome. I used to have a ford, it broke down alot. Have a great day!
