dudes and duddettes,
i was going through a bunch of bumps on the road and BAM!!! my dak just shut off??!!!! what the hell????? well i turned the ignition back again and it started like new. what happened? please inform me of what to do next?

My dakota did the same thing this morning, i went over a bumpy rail road kinda fast and it ideled down and then shut of and then i started it back up and it was ok,

did you happen to be rather low on gas at the time?? If you were you might have sucked up a large air bubble created by the bumps when you bounced in them into the fuel line. That would cause it to die.
