Since it has gotten hot again, had to have the ac on. I have noticed that it does not feel like it is getting that cold. I have an 02 dak cc slt+ 4x2 3.9 v6. Does anybody have any suggestions besides going to the dealer or has anybody had similar problems?? Also, have a weird ?sulfur? smell when driven hard like more than half throttle.

You most likely have a leak, isn't it under warranty?

The sulfur smell is from your catalytic converter. You might be running rich.

I have a 97, 3.9, Sport.
I have had to get the AC recharged every other year since it
was new, to keep the AC cold.
The first time I had it recharged I was told there was a leak in the
system.
Went to the dealer, they replaced the compressor.
But it still goes bad every other year.

Finally I got smart, and bought the equipment to do it myself.
Now I give it a little boost each summer to make sure it stays
nice and ice cold in there on those hot summer days.
