You may be surprised at how cheap it is to get your seats rebuilt and recovered.
Several years ago, I restored an older 79 Ford (I'm sorry) truck and had the seat re done for cheap. They had to retie the springs, add new surface foam and completely replace the fabric cover. It was surprising inexpensive.
Don't go to the high dollar shops or the "stealer". The guy that did mine had a small shop and he did really good work.

I have 2 bucket seats from my 99 r/t in like new condition. They are light grey and i think you could make them work. You would just need brackets. I took them off for my racing seats. If interested contact me at hoffmanma@chartermi.net

I have seats from an 88 daytona in mine.I also saved the 60/40 split bench that was in it.The seats are red and I would like to get rid of them if any one is interested.

I replaced the bench that was in my GENII 1995 Dodge Dakota.
I installed the Eagle Mini Allante Vinyl Seats.
They were purchased from JCWhitney.com

They fit really well. Its 3 bucket seats and the middle one is a fold down console. The only real problem is how high the console sits up. I usually have it folded up and use the storage space the third seat gives me. Email me if you have any more questions. bdm@columbus.rr.com

I am getting an 88 dodge dakota. I'm a tall big guy so i have concerns about being comfortable in the cab. It has bench seats so i was thinking that if i replace the bench seat with buckets it will give me a little more clearance.
I've been reading about putting in seats from an 88 daytona. will that do the trick for me?
