Message: Does anybody make Air Shocks for a 99 Dakota with the 3.9? I have the hotchkis lowering kit on it but i am going to have to tow a 1968 mustang from California to Texas on a flat trailer and i will have some stuff in the bed. The trailer has brakes on it. It just seems that now the truck can't take as much weight as before i replaced the leafs with the lowered ones. I figured with some air shocks it should do the trick.

Message: I wouldn't mess with air shocks, I've seen too many go bad, you would be better off using helper springs on your leafs to help keep the truck from sagging. You can get those helper springs at any auto parts store. I've also seen an airbag kit for leaf springs, but I can't remember where I've seen it last!
